The Scarlet Hotel is tucked away in China Town in Singapore, quite inconspicuous but very easy to find too. Just a two minute walk away from the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, it is in a fabulous location but it isn’t an obvious hotel building but more camouflaged in with the unique China Town style road.
On walking into the Scarlet Hotel it feels very luxurious with plenty of velvet and of course… scarlet. The hotel staff are very friendly and even though we were VERY early for check-in, they took our cases and we went up to the roof top tub and lay on the loungers up there.
Once we were in our room, we were very excited; we had got it at a great deal (and usually when this happens, hotels give you their cheapest room) but at the Scarlet hotel, they either don’t have any cheap looking rooms or we got a fabulous deal. Down a long rouge corridor, the hotel gives off a very exclusive and boutique vibe and we eventually got to our door, walked in and it was beautiful. Very well done, very clean, tall ceilings, and all the little hotel pressies you get like a tooth brush!
Unfortunately, I (taking forever to get ready) did not have time to visit the roof top garden bar but my boyfriend did and he was stunned at how magical it felt. So next time – I will sure make time to have a drink up there.
Scarlet hotel in my opinion, has everything – the location, the great value for money, the luxurious feel and the chicness you feel when there.
