The hotel you NEED to visit in Budapest!

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Budapest, a city that had been on my bucket list for years. Whilst we were there, we stayed in the incredible Kozmo Luxury Hotel, which is not only a Leading Hotel of the World but now one of my favourite hotels in the world too! It’s beauty and elegance is simply breathtaking!

History

Kozmo lies in a beautiful old building that was once home to the largest telecommunications centre in Eastern and Central Europe in the early 20th Century. Due to it being empty for many years after, when Kozmo first occupied the building, they discovered many historic artefacts which now can be found in Museums.

The grand staircase or the heart of the building gives an opulent and luxurious ambiance, the ceilings and walls were even hand painted by an older couple, so every tiniest detail has been so carefully attended to.

Room

The hotel offers 84 rooms, and even the smallest of them is considerably larger than the ‘standard’ hotel room elsewhere. Throughout our stay, we occupied a suite which was simply wonderful.

With a guest and main bathroom, a lounge and dining area, gorgeous 4 poster bed and a walk in wardrobe, we were completely spoilt!

With only the highest quality and stunning aesthetics, combined with intricate touches such as soft Kozmo Towels, hair straighteners (!), chocolates on the pillow and a turn down service, there is nothing this hotel didn’t provide.

All of the artwork throughout the hotel including all the rooms display different pictures taken from Carlos Cánovas, a famous Spanish Photographer, who’s pieces only add to the interest and distinguished luxury of the hotel.

Service

The service from every staff member was highly attentive, the reception were so welcoming and helpful, Christian gave us tips on where to go and what to see in the city, the cleaners were excellent as were the bar staff and waiters who were so friendly and eager to help. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay perfect!

Spa

The Spa & Wellness Centre on the ground floor of Kozmo, was a welcomed retreat after a day of exploring the city. Complete with pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and treatment rooms there really is no better place to unwind.

My partner, Will enjoyed a wonderful massage (and actually fell asleep on the table, he was so relaxed)!

Gastronomy

The breakfast at Kozmo was always so elegantly presented, with a self-service buffet full of delicious cakes, breads, cereals, fruits etc. and the option to also enjoy a cooked breakfast (the pancakes were amazing!)

Amenities

The Oyster bar was open on Friday and Saturday evenings whilst we were there bringing more elegance and a lavish spot to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or 2, or to dine with an incredibly classy menu.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kozmo Luxury Hotel in Budapest, the sheer beauty of the hotel, the impeccable service from every staff member and the mesmerising architecture of the hotel and it’s facilities – wow, thank you for having us, Kozmo!
